Reformation Sunday… 10/30/2016 (REVISED)

KEEP FOCUSED… (push)

Almighty God, gracious Lord, pour out your Holy Spirit upon your faithful people.  Keep them steadfast in your Word, protect and comfort them in all temptations, defend them against all enemies, and bestow on the Church your saving peace; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

KEEP FOCUSED…

I am really excited to read on Sunday at church… This Sunday marks a time in which we remember a Saint… Saint Martin Luther… *PLEASE NOTE: THE CATHOLIC CHURCH HAS NOT RECOGNIZED HIS SAINTHOOD*  His life brought us the Word of God and this Sunday is when we recognize the 500th year after the reformation of the Catholic church… I went yesterday to a bible study at my church.  I was taught the scriptures I will share with you throughout this week… Freedom of Faith is what screamed at me.  I pray you receive this theme when reading these scriptures.  I will share with you these scriptures later in the week; however, I want to share with you a scripture that I stumbled upon this morning.  It is an example for us to…

THANK YOU GOD FOR TODAY!

Matthew 14:22-33

Jesus Walks on the Sea

22 Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away. 23 And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there. 24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.

25 Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.

27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”

28 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”

29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”

31 And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” 32 And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.

33 Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”

I pray that you are aware that no matter how many “good” works you do… It truly will not matter when judgement day is upon us…

KEEP FOCUSED ON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR.

Jeremiah 31:31-34

A New Covenant

31 “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”

10/28/2016 – Today, I learned about All Saint’s Eve or what is commonly called Halloween… May I share this with you???

Halloween or Hallowe’en (a contraction of All Hallows’ Evening), also known as AllhalloweenAll Hallows’ Eve, or All Saints’ Eve, is a celebration observed in a number of countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day. It begins the three-day observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed.

It is widely believed that many Halloween traditions originated from Celtic harvest festivals which may have pagan roots, particularly the Gaelic festival Samhain, and that this festival was Christianized as Halloween. Some academics, however, support the view that Halloween began independently as a solely Christian holiday… DON’T FORGET NOVEMBER 1st…

WHY ISN’T MARTIN LUTHER REMEMBERED AS A SAINT???

10/29/2016 – Saint… Yeah, Tuesday we remember the lives of those saints that were here on earth with us… I came across a scripture written in the New Testament in our Holy Bible… It reads…

Revelation 20:4

The Saints Reign with Christ 1,000 Years

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

THANK YOU GOD FOR THE SOUL OF MARTIN LUTHER…

He made it possible that I can read, learn, and try to understand your Word intended for us… (humanity)

Twenty-Third Sunday After Pentecost… 10/23/2016 (REVISED)

POWER OF LOVE… (push)

Almighty and everlasting God, increase in us the gifts of faith, hope, and charity; and, that we may obtain what you promise, make us love what you command; through Your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

POWER OF LOVE…

I am writing this right now with my sunglasses on… I apologize for any typos and misuse of grammar I might enter…. I am writing this with my sunglasses on because the shade feels AWESOME on my stupid eye.  You see, I was helping my Mom garden on Sunday and a flower bud poked me in the eyeball while I was trimming a bush.  To make matters worse, my allergies kicked in… O WELL… SUNGLASSES ROCK!

I want to share with you a message… GOD LOVES YOU!  This world might give you struggles; however, that is what makes life FUN…

THANK YOU GOD FOR YESTERDAY!!!

Let me tell you about yesterday, I came across these two scriptures… May I share them???

1 Corinthians 1:18

(Written by our brother Paul in the New Testament of our Holy Bible)

Christ the Power and Wisdom of God

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

And…

Psalm 23:4

(Verse used by David when He defeated Goliath)

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

AWESOME HUH??? When things seem dark shine that bright light of Christ!!!

It was cool… I went to a bible study at my church yesterday and noticed a common theme in the readings and Holy Gospel that will be taught on Sunday.

The POWER OF LOVE…

Also, our hymnal recommends teaching other verses on different years under the same subject… A reading that popped out at me is written in the Old Testament in our Holy Bible… It reads…

Leviticus 19:1-2 The Message (MSG)

“I Am God, Your God”

19 1-2 God spoke to Moses: “Speak to the congregation of Israel. Tell them, Be holy because I, God, your God, am holy:

15 “Don’t pervert justice. Don’t show favoritism to either the poor or the great. Judge on the basis of what is right.

16 “Don’t spread gossip and rumors.

“Don’t just stand by when your neighbor’s life is in danger. I am God.

17 “Don’t secretly hate your neighbor. If you have something against him, get it out into the open; otherwise you are an accomplice in his guilt.

18 “Don’t seek revenge or carry a grudge against any of your people.

“Love your neighbor as yourself. I am God.

Moses was a cool messenger of God…

Please share the News of God’s love through spreading the ministry of His Son and our Lord Jesus Christ… May your days be blessed and you live a long joyous life!

THANKS BE TO GOD!!!

AND please check this post as I will be adding scriptures and daily testimonials throughout the week.

THANK YOU GOD FOR TODAY!

I want to share with you a way that our Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray…

Matthew 6:9-13

Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
10 Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
    on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread,
12 and forgive us our debts,
    as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen

On a personal note, I can not wait until I VOLUNTEER TO PLANT SOME SAPLINGS (young trees) on Saturday…

Now, I am gonna read that book I got for my course in

Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills…

Do WE know what PROVERBS 3:1-5 SAYS???

10/22/2016 – It was windy… however, the Swatara Creek’s Floodplain has been altered…

GROW! SAPLINGS GROW!

Anyway…

I learned something pretty cool on Friday, when reading about successful negotiations, and I would like to try to explain to you my thoughts…

I believe that I am negotiating with you to receive eternal life and to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior… I learned, that after determining whether or not a negotiation is position based or interest based, it is important to follow some ethical standards… For instance… what would a person, you look up to, do in that situation???

Right away… I have the urgency to share with you the Holy Gospel (Good News)… Matthew is the first book written in the New Testament of our Holy Bible… the 22nd chapter reads…

 Matthew 22:34-46

The Scribes: Which Is the First Commandment of All?

34 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together. 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

🙂 POWER OF LOVE 🙂

Jesus: How Can David Call His Descendant Lord?

41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,42 saying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?”

They said to Him, “The Son of David.”

43 He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying:

44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”’?

45 If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?” 46 And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.

YEA… I LOOK UP TO JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR…

Do you also know David wrote most of the PSALMS???

Twenty-Second Sunday After Pentecost… 10/16/2016 (REVISED)

BE THAT GOOD EXAMPLE… (push)

Almighty and everlasting God, in Christ you have revealed your glory among the nations.  Preserve the works of your mercy, that your Church throughout the world may persevere with the steadfast faith in the confession of your name; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

BE THAT GOOD EXAMPLE…

There is a lot of confusion in this world.  He says… She says… The Government says… The Media says… you know what??? I say BE THAT GOOD EXAMPLE…

Let me explain… please share the joy of the Lord with others.  As a believer in the birth, life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ this joy will be easily seen by non-believers… Although tough times on “earth” might happen… These tough times will not last forever.  I had a good discussion with my Pastor 2 weeks ago, and she gave me some AWESOME advice to get through my own personal hard time… she told me “ENDURE”… AWESOME… HUH???

To non-believers her advice would seem useless… However, I have hope for a brighter future.  I want to share with you a cool prophecy I came across when reading in the book of Isaiah in our Old Testament… It reads…

Isaiah 45:1-7

Cyrus, God’s Instrument

45 “Thus says the Lord to His anointed,
To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—
To subdue nations before him
And loose the armor of kings,
To open before him the double doors,
So that the gates will not be shut:
‘I will go before you
And make the crooked places straight;
I will break in pieces the gates of bronze
And cut the bars of iron.
I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden riches of secret places,
That you may know that I, the Lord,
Who call you by your name,
Am the God of Israel.
For Jacob My servant’s sake,
And Israel My elect,
I have even called you by your name;
I have named you, though you have not known Me.
am the Lord, and there is no other;
There is no God besides Me.
I will gird you, though you have not known Me,
That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting
That there is none besides Me.
am the Lord, and there is no other;
I form the light and create darkness,
I make peace and create calamity;
I, the Lord, do all these things.

*PLEASE NOTE* Cyrus was considered to be God’s Messiah… HOWEVER…HE WAS NOT RESURRECTED… 🙂

In God We Trust

To me, this prophecy is beautiful… I pray that God makes your crooked ways straight (Isaiah 45:2)

BE THAT GOOD EXAMPLE…

This brings to mind AWESOME encouragement from our brother Paul in his letter to Thessaloniki, written in the New Testament of our Holy Bible… It reads…

1 Thessalonians 1:1-5

Greeting

Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy,

To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Their Good Example

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.

Paul’s letter is AWESOME encouragement for us as believers to…

BE THAT GOOD EXAMPLE…

*Please check out this blog during the week*  I will be adding to this post… THANK YOU!!!

BTW- I AM READING THIS WEEK IN CHURCH…

10/12/2016 – Today I woke up with a pinched nerve… That pinched nerve did not stop me from being a good example…

I ALSO RECEIVED MY READINGS IN THE MAIL LAST NIGHT… I want to share the first one with you NOW.

Genesis 32:22-31

Wrestling with God

22 And he arose that night and took his two wives, his two female servants, and his eleven sons, and crossed over the ford of Jabbok. 23 He took them, sent them over the brook, and sent over what he had.24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. 25 Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. 26 And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.”

But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!”

27 So He said to him, “What is your name?”

He said, “Jacob.”

28 And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”

29 Then Jacob asked, saying, “Tell me Your name, I pray.”

And He said, “Why is it that you ask about My name?” And He blessed him there.

30 So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel:“For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” 31 Just as he crossed over Penuel the sun rose on him, and he limped on his hip.

WHAT IS YOUR NAME???

please-10-12-2016

(Luke 9:23-241 Corinthians 12:27)

10/13/2016 – COOL. We found it. I LOVE #reading & #learning… I APPLIED FOR THAT FULL-TIME JOB… I LOVE THE LIBRARY. (Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills-University of Michigan)

YOU WILL LOVE THE SECOND READING I AM SPEAKING BEFORE THE PRAYER OF THE CHURCH… May I share it???

2 Timothy 3:14-4:5

14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Preach the Word

I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom:Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Hearing these words makes me want to…

BE THAT GOOD EXAMPLE…

I will volunteer to plant a tree… 🙂

45 “Thus says the Lord to His anointed,
To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—
To subdue nations before him
And loose the armor of kings,
To open before him the double doors,
So that the gates will not be shut:
‘I will go before you
And make the crooked places straight;
I will break in pieces the gates of bronze
And cut the bars of iron.
I will give you the treasures of darkness
And hidden riches of secret places,
That you may know that I, the Lord,
Who call you by your name,
Am the God of Israel.
For Jacob My servant’s sake,
And Israel My elect,
I have even called you by your name;
I have named you, though you have not known Me.
am the Lord, and there is no other;
There is no God besides Me.
I will gird you, though you have not known Me,
That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting
That there is none besides Me.
am the Lord, and there is no other;
I form the light and create darkness,
I make peace and create calamity;
I, the Lord, do all these things.

*PLEASE NOTE* Cyrus was considered to be God’s Messiah… HOWEVER… HE WAS NOT RESURRECTED… 🙂

28 And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel;[a]for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.”

10/13/2016 – COOL. We found it. I LOVE #reading & #learning… I APPLIED FOR THAT FULL-TIME JOB… I LOVE THE LIBRARY. (Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills-University of Michigan)

YOU WILL LOVE THE SECOND READING I AM SPEAKING BEFORE THE PRAYER OF THE CHURCH…

Twenty-First Sunday After Pentecost… 10/9/2016

DON’T WORRY… BE HAPPY… (push)

Almighty God, source of every blessing, your generous goodness comes to us anew every day.  By the work of your Spirit lead us to acknowledge your goodness, give thanks for your benefits, and serve you in willing obedience; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

DON’T WORRY… BE HAPPY…

Easier said than done… However, the Joy of the Lord is with me and I want to share that Joy with others.    I know Jesus Christ our Lord would want it no other way if He was still physically present on this earth.  I want to believe that other Christians have this goal in mind.

(PSALM 37:1-92 Timothy 1:1-14)

I was working out in Hershey on Tuesday and went into the locker room to change.  The gym, I was at, had ESPN on the TV… ESPN was covering the funeral of golf legend and fellow brother in Christ, Arnold Palmer…  The preacher giving the Eulogy said how Arnold and his family would want people to have a smile on their face today… BEAUTIFUL… HUH???

This got me thinking… Aren’t we supposed to show sadness during a time of grief???

THEN, IT STRUCK ME.

Why are we sad??? Mr. Palmer is with God.

During my workout, a discussion about celebrating Halloween came up.  Do we know that the next day is All Saints Day (Nov 1)?

fear

All Saints Day is celebrating those souls that have the joined the Lord in paradise.  BEAUTIFUL.

Speaking of Saints… our brother Paul writes some really encouraging words for us in his letter to Philippi, Greece in Philippians… I want to share an exert from his letter, written in the New Testament of our Holy Bible with you…

Philippians 4:4-13

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things arelovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Philippian Generosity

10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

WORDS ARE POWERFUL WHEN ACTED UPON… and I am “wowed” by our Brother Paul’s graceful words…

During the week of this 21st Sunday After Pentecost, I will be updating and adding scriptures to this post.  I would love for you to join me on my walk with Jesus Christ our Lord through scriptures and personal testimonies by checking them out.

THANK YOU GOD FOR TODAY!!!

10/5/2016 – I went to see my Insurance Agent in Hershey JaCi… I LOVE her name… hearing her name reminds me of our Lord Jesus Christ

Anyway, I told JaCi about my idea to dig out the flowers that I had planted outside at the gym where I work.  I want to see Jack-o-lanterns there, instead.  I am sure my boss won’t mind.  That would be cool for Halloween… I got to ask around tonight to see if any one knows where we can get cheap pumpkins or preferably FREE ones 🙂

10/6/2016ARE YOU READY???

I love to read and I love to share the scriptures I have read from the Holy Bible to you.  This morning was no different… I read…

It was AWESOME when I thought about these scriptures together…

I was first reading about Moses and the Ten Commandments… part of this reads…

Deuteronomy 6:4-5

4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one!  5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

I then started reading the Holy Gospel (GOOD NEWS) of Luke… It reads…

Luke 4:6-8

6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. 7 Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”

8 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

After reading, I wanted to share with you these scriptures from my laptop; however, this DAMN machine wouldn’t let me… WHY??? I HAVEN’T CHANGED MY ROUTINE SINCE THE THE FIRST SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST… WHY IS IT MESSING UP 21 WEEKS AFTER???

Anyway, today I got my hours cut at my part-time job… How am I gonna pay bills???  I should listen to my own advice for this week…

DON’T WORRY… BE HAPPY…

THANK YOU ALMIGHTY GOD FOR TOMORROW!!!

Twentieth Sunday After Pentecost… 10/2/2016

USA! USA! USA! (push)

Our Lord Jesus, you have endured the doubts and foolish questions of every generation.  Forgive us for trying to be judge over you, and grant us the confident faith to acknowledge you as Lord.

USA! USA! USA!

I love the United States of America… we are truly a blessed nation and I am blessed for being a citizen within its borders…

I followed a car on my way to the library to write this entry… Its license plate read BRO KEV…

COOL… HUH???

coincidence

Anyway, I have been reading scriptures found in the hymnal I got from my church in Hershey… I want to share with you one of scriptures designated to be taught the 20th Sunday after Pentecost.  It is the parable of the wicked vine-dressers, taught by Jesus Christ found in the Holy Gospel of Matthew written in the New Testament of our Holy Bible.

Matthew 21:33-43

The Parable of the Wicked Vine-dressers

33 “Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vine-dressers and went into a far country. 34 Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vine-dressers, that they might receive its fruit. 35 And the vine-dressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. 36 Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them. 37 Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 38 But when the vine-dressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ 39 So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him.

40 “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vine-dressers?”

41 They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vine-dressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.”

42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:

‘The stone which the builders rejected

Has become the chief cornerstone.

This was the Lord’s doing,

And it is marvelous in our eyes’?

43 “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.

AWESOME! This makes me want to get it going… USA! USA! USA!  I don’t want to see the United States of America lose God… WILL YOU HELP ME KEEP HIM PRESENT???

(Luke 24:6-7… MORE)

I am reading this week in church again… I LOVE IT… It appears that I am scheduled to read every other weekend in October and then some more… YOU KNOW IT.  I would love to see you there for encouragement or at the very least please visit this blog/website this week to view the scriptures I will be reading and ask me about them…

“Every truly great accomplishment seems at first impossible…”

Let’s look at jobs…

9/28/2016 – Today, I spoke with my pastor… She gave a beautiful prayer over me… WISDOM… have it??? I also picked up a copy of the readings I will speak at my church on Sunday… No worries if you will not be present…  I will go over them throughout this week for you…

The first lesson is from the book of Habakkuk in the Old Testament written in our Holy Bible…

Habakkuk 1:1-4

The Prophet’s Question

2 O Lord, how long shall I cry,

And You will not hear?

Even cry out to You, “Violence!”

And You will not save.

3 Why do You show me iniquity,

And cause me to see trouble?

For plundering and violence are before me;

There is strife, and contention arises.

4 Therefore the law is powerless,

And justice never goes forth.

For the wicked surround the righteous;

Therefore perverse judgment proceeds.

May you please help me prove Habakkuk wrong?  I want to believe that the Lord hears my cries…

Hopefully, the next reading I share with you is more comforting…

6/29/2016AWESOMENESS… I want to share with you the beginning of the next chapter that I am reading…

Habakkuk 2:1-4

God’s Reply to the Prophet’s Complaint

2 I will stand at my watchpost,

and station myself on the rampart;

I will keep watch to see what he will say to me,

and what he[a] will answer concerning my complaint.

2 Then the Lord answered me and said:

Write the vision;

make it plain on tablets,

so that a runner may read it.

3 For there is still a vision for the appointed time;

it speaks of the end, and does not lie.

If it seems to tarry, wait for it;

it will surely come, it will not delay.

4 Look at the proud!

Their spirit is not right in them,

but the righteous live by their faith.

THIS MAKES ME WANT TO RUN!

THANK YOU GOD FOR WISDOM…

10/1/2016 – (PENN STATE-29 vs. MINNESOTA – 26) If God is not a Penn State fan, then why is the sky blue and white???  I WAS AT WORK AND I ASKED A GOOD MAN ABOUT THE BOOK OF SIRACH… HIS RESPONSE… “WHAT’S THAT”… (please note that this is a statement vice question)…
