Week of Second Sunday in Advent… 12/4/2016 *push*

I LOVE THE DARK… (may we shine brighter) *push*

Stir up our hearts, O Lord, to prepare the way for your only Son.  By his coming give us the strength in our conflicts and shed light on our path through the darkness of this world; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

I LOVE THE DARK…

(may we shine brighter)

Another week has gone and passed.  We are witnessing an extraordinary chain of events… From Fidel Castro’s death, to a suggested recount of votes in the election of a political leader, to an attack by evil at Ohio State University…It appears that this world is hopeless… However, I might disagree 🙂

THIS IS WHAT MY PASTOR TAUGHT US LAST WEEK AT CHURCH… We have hope… One doesn’t have to live in depression or have a negative state of mind… you know why???

We have won!!! Our belief in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead should bring a joyous shout from all of us… This hope in eternal life brings a smile to my face… IT’s AWESOME!

I want to share with you a group of verses written in our Holy Bible that I was reading at 6 this morning… 6 AM… Didn’t I work till 11 last night???

mopping

ANYWAY… IT IS WRITTEN…

1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Institution of the Lord’s Supper

23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

Our brother Paul had an AWESOME way of writing testimonies down and turning that testimony into a story in which God’s beloved children could understand…

The Lord’s super was also written about in the Holy Gospels by witnesses… May you tell me where???

please-11-29-2016

WHEN I ASK QUESTIONS, PLEASE DO NOT MISINTERPRET THAT IGNORANCE AS DISRESPECT… God knows I love being called impertinent. 🙂

I simply, do not know…

I think that is an AWESOME revelation… To know that I don’t know… The other scriptures, I was reading this morning, is written in the book of Genesis.  This gave me wisdom to share with you that I DO KNOW.

*I have heard some Christians make the comparison of Melchizedek to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

To me, this makes my head hurt… I just know Jesus Christ is Lord.

Please visit this post throughout your week… I will be adding personal testimonies and scriptures that give me peace… and I HOPE these entries will give you peace also…

MAY PEACE BE WITH YOU!!!

You know… Today, I just feel blah…

THAT IS THE TIME TO PRAISE GOD… I really feel tired… however, I am going to share with you verses from the book of revelation written by John in the New Testament of our Holy Bible… (I LOVE READING)

please-12-1-2016

Revelation 21:2-4

Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS???

AWESOMENESS… I am reading for my church on Sunday and really want to share these readings with you… I will post these readings for you on this post throughout the week if you can’t make it to my church.  As for right now, I want to share with you scriptures written in the old testament of our Holy Bible… These verses (a.k.a. scriptures) are taken from the book of Job…

Job 38:1-15

The Lord Reveals His Omnipotence *push* to Job

38 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:

“Who is this who darkens counsel
By words without knowledge?
Now prepare yourself like a man;
I will question you, and you shall answer Me.

“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?
Tell Me, if you have understanding.
Who determined its measurements?
Surely you know!
Or who stretched the line upon it?
To what were its foundations fastened?
Or who laid its cornerstone,
When the morning stars sang together,
And all the sons of God shouted for joy?

“Or who shut in the sea with doors,
When it burst forth and issued from the womb;
When I made the clouds its garment,
And thick darkness its swaddling band;
10 When I fixed My limit for it,
And set bars and doors;
11 When I said,
‘This far you may come, but no farther,
And here your proud waves must stop!’

12 “Have you commanded the morning since your days began,
And caused the dawn to know its place,
13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth,
And the wicked be shaken out of it?
14 It takes on form like clay under a seal,
And stands out like a garment.
15 From the wicked their light is withheld,
And the upraised arm is broken.

Job was the man.

Thank you God for the story of Job’s suffering and faithfulness to you!!!

In these verses we are reminded that man is man; however, God is something so great and powerful that our human mind can not even begin to understand… WE CAN TRY😉 God knows, I try…

*John 3: Story of when John the Baptist baptizes Jesus Christ*

I encourage you to read and learn it for yourself🙂

Remembering Thanksgiving…

  • A message from our 1st President, George Washington with a request from both Houses of Congress!

THANKSGIVING DAY 1789; BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA – A PROCLAMATION

“Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor – and Whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me ‘to recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably a form of government for their safety and happiness.’

Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th Day of November next to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be…”

(PROVERBS 19:11JAMES 1:19)

I DID NOT GET ANGRY… I FOUND THEM AND GOT MY DAY GOING…

I promised to share with you the lessons I will be reading on Sunday… Ready for the first one???

Isaiah 2:1-5

Now it shall come to pass in the latter days
That the mountain of the Lord’s house
Shall be established on the top of the mountains,
And shall be exalted above the hills;
And all nations shall flow to it.
Many people shall come and say,
“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
He will teach us His ways,
And we shall walk in His paths.”
For out of Zion shall go forth the law,
And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
He shall judge between the nations,
And rebuke many people;
They shall beat their swords into plowshares,
And their spears into pruning hooks;
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
Neither shall they learn war anymore.

The Day of the Lord

O house of Jacob, come and let us walk
In the light of the Lord.

THANK YOU GOD FOR TODAY!!!

I just finished watching the Penn State Football game… BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP HERE WE COME.

lets-go

ANYWAY…

Here is that second lesson I am reading at church… IT READS…

Romans 13:11-14

Put on Christ

11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

 Kind of reminds me of another scripture from our brother Paul… (Ephesians 6:10-18)

Twenty-Seventh Sunday After Pentecost (CHRIST THE KING)… 11/20/2016 (REVISED) *push*

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT… *push*

Almighty and ever-living God, before the earth was formed and even after it ceases to be, you are God.  Break into our short span of life and let us see the signs of your final will and purpose, through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT…

Yes… BE YOU, BE BEAUTIFUL… HAVE CONFIDENCE THAT OUR LORD IN HEAVEN LOVES YOU… This might be hard to understand to some in this world; however, I assure you it will be easy to understand to those in the Kingdom to come…🙂

I stumbled across a scripture on my walk with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior this morning and would love to share it with you… MAY I???

The scripture is written in the New Testament by our brother Paul in the Holy Bible… IT READS…

Reading these verses written by Paul excites my Spirit within… Men, and women alike might have different interpretations on the Word of God separating Christians from truth, however, this should not discourage the individual to have his or her personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.  This truth written by Paul makes us look at the BIG picture…

To me, words are extremely powerful… I intend to demonstrate how AWESOME it is to tell of God’s glory in this world…

Psalm 105:1-7

The Eternal Faithfulness of the Lord

105 Oh, give thanks to the Lord!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!
Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;
Talk of all His wondrous works!
Glory in His holy name;
Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!
Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore!
Remember His marvelous works which He has done,
His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth,
O seed of Abraham His servant,
You children of Jacob, His chosen ones!

He is the Lord our God,

His judgments are in all the earth.

Did you know this PSALM is written by King David (David vs. Goliath) in the Old Testament of our Holy Bible??? Did you also know that our Lord Jesus Christ is a Descendant of King David??? (Matthew 1)

questions

I do not intend to confuse anyone of God’s children in speaking of these truths…  I would love for you to read the Holy Bible on your own and come up with your own interpretations… WILL YOU???

God knows, I WILL…

I am so grateful that I am learning a lot about history… History, not only on this planet; however, on the Kingdom to come as well… I learned something this morning from the book of Malachi written in the Old Testament of our Holy Bible and would like to share these words with you.  May I???

Malachi 3:1-7

The Coming Messenger

“Behold, I send My messenger,
And he will prepare the way before Me.
And the Lord, whom you seek,
Will suddenly come to His temple,
Even the Messenger of the covenant,
In whom you delight.
Behold, He is coming,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

“But who can endure the day of His coming?
And who can stand when He appears?
For He is like a refiner’s fire
And like launderers’ soap.
He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver;
He will purify the sons of Levi,
And purge them as gold and silver,
That they may offer to the Lord
An offering in righteousness.

“Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem
Will be pleasant to the Lord,
As in the days of old,
As in former years.
And I will come near you for judgment;
I will be a swift witness
Against sorcerers,
Against adulterers,
Against perjurers,
Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans,
And against those who turn away an alien—
Because they do not fear Me,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

“For I am the Lord, I do not change;
Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
Yet from the days of your fathers
You have gone away from My ordinances
And have not kept them.
Return to Me, and I will return to you,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
“But you said,
‘In what way shall we return?’

ALL PRAISES DUE!!! *push*

Lord God, so rule and govern our hearts and minds by your Holy Spirit that, always keeping in mind the end of all things and the day of judgement, we may be stirred up to holiness of life here and may live with you forever in the world to come, through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

ALL PRAISES DUE!!!

Craziness… I like to call it educational willingness… I am sure my point of view might seem crazy to some; however, that is all good… I VOTED…

(Acts 7:55-60Revelation 12:17)

I want to move past this election, in this country (THAT I LOVE), and encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ to not become stagnate in God’s work.

THAT’s A HAWK ON THE TOP OF MY CHURCH🙂

I went to a Bible Study at the Church where I am a member… there, I learned about the lessons I will be reading on Sunday.  They seem to focus on one idea… THE DAY OF THE LORD…🙂  May I share this encouragement with you???

2 Thessalonians 3:6-13

Warning against Idleness

Now we command you, beloved, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from believers who are living in idleness and not according to the tradition that they received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us; we were not idle when we were with you, and we did not eat anyone’s bread without paying for it; but with toil and labor we worked night and day, so that we might not burden any of you. This was not because we do not have that right, but in order to give you an example to imitate. 10 For even when we were with you, we gave you this command: Anyone unwilling to work should not eat. 11 For we hear that some of you are living in idleness, mere busybodies, not doing any work. 12 Now such persons we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living. 13 Brothers and sisters, do not be weary in doing what is right.

GO HARD! or GO HOME!

ALL PRAISES DUE!!!

Our brother Paul was an AWESOME writer… I pray that you really understand Paul’s words written in the New Testament of our Holy Bible… I am trying…🙂

I want to share with you a computer game that I shared with my nieces to introduce them to our Lord Jesus Christ… I am not sure how this machine will upload this link, but, here goes nothing!

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/73192422/

This game has my two of my favorite verses in it.

(PSALM 103… Ephesians 1:3-6)

This week, I volunteered again to read lessons for church; however, this time it will be on the 8:00 AM Service on Sunday… I will be there… will you???

Like always, this page will be updated daily… please read further on this post for more readings/testimonials of mine throughout the week.  THANK YOU +

BTW- The word “Alleluia” or “Hallelujah” (from Hebrew הללו יה), which literally means “Praise ye Yah” or “Praise Jah, you people”, is used in different ways in Christian liturgies. “Praise Jah” is a short form of “Praise Yahweh”.

11/9/2016 –

Today, I was at a Gym in Harrisburg minding my own business when a dude came up-to me and asked me if I voted…

After I told him I did vote in the United States of America’s Election, he proceeded to inform me that he votes for Jesus…  He then quoted scripture and informed me that I am mistaken and tried to make a correlation of my choice of president and Satan… smh…

yes-yes-yes

Isn’t that putting a limitation on God? My Lord and Savior is ruler of all nations… I don’t have to vote for Him… I already accepted Him in my heart. (That dude at the Gym must not have voted yesterday)…

THANK YOU GOD FOR TODAY!!!

ALL PRAISES DUE!!!

11/10/2016

I stumbled across a reading found in the Holy Gospels that I would like to share with you.  May I???

Matthew 24:1-2

Jesus Predicts the Destruction of the Temple

24 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not onestone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

This happening is also going to be taught this Sunday (TODAY) from the book of Luke… IT READS…

Luke 21:5-6

Jesus Predicts the Destruction of the Temple

Then, as some spoke of the temple, how it was adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said, “These things which you see—the days will come in which not one stone shall be left upon another that shall not be thrown down.”

THANK YOU GOD FOR YESTERDAY!!!

BTW – I am going to volunteer my time to help the Hershey Historical Society social media platforms excel… (HAD MY MEETING TODAY)

“MORE THAN SWEETS THE EYE”

Some might call me superstitious… I call it knowing God🙂

(Ephesians 4:32Joel 2:17)

Superstition

A cardinal is a representative of a loved one who has passed. When you see one, it means they are visiting you. They usually show up when you most need them or miss them. They also make an appearance during times of celebration as well as despair to let you know they will always be with you. Look for them, they’ll appear.

TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY…

THANK YOU GOD FOR TOMORROW!!!

11/12/2016

Week of Twenty-Sixth Sunday After Pentecost… 11/13/2016 *push*

ALL PRAISES DUE!!! (push)

THAT’s A HAWK ON THE TOP OF MY CHURCH 🙂

I went to a Bible Study at the Church where I am a member… there, I learned about the lessons I will be reading on Sunday.  They seem to focus on one idea… THE DAY OF THE LORD… 🙂  May I share this encouragement with you???

Our brother Paul was an AWESOME writer… I pray that you really understand Paul’s words written in the New Testament of our Holy Bible… I am trying… 🙂

I want to share with you a computer game that I shared with my nieces to introduce them to our Lord Jesus Christ… I am not sure how this machine will upload this link, but, here goes nothing!

This game has my two of my favorite verses in it.

Thank you 8.20.2015

alleluia-11-8-2016

11/9/2016

Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

This happening also was taught last Sunday in the book of Luke… IT READS…

(ROCK)

BTW – I am going to volunteer my time to help the Hershey Historical Society social media platforms excel… (HAD MY MEETING TODAY)

11/11/2016

ALL PRAISES DUE!!!

I got a “sweet” idea for the Hershey Historical Society…

“MORE THAN SWEETS THE EYE”

more-than-sweets

Some might call me superstitious… I call it knowing God 🙂

(Ephesians 4:32Joel 2:17)

Superstition

A cardinal is a representative of a loved one who has passed. When you see one, it means they are visiting you. They usually show up when you most need them or miss them. They also make an appearance during times of celebration as well as despair to let you know they will always be with you. Look for them, they’ll appear.

TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY…

THANK YOU GOD FOR TOMORROW!!!

Twenty-Fifth Sunday After Pentecost… 11/6/2016 (REVISED) *push*

TRY… TRY AGAIN… TRY YET AGAIN… *push*

Stir up, O Lord, the wills of your faithful people to seek more eagerly the help you offer, that, at the last, they may enjoy the fruit of salvation; through our Lord Jesus Christ.

TRY… TRY AGAIN… TRY YET AGAIN…

Awesome… Today is just Awesome… Thank you God…

I want to share with you some wisdom Today; however, I am unclear what the scriptures are meant to teach this week.  Let me TRY to explain… I look in a Lutheran Book of Worship for guidance of what scriptures to post given in the church calendar… (letter a. I KNOW THE SEMINARY TEACHES letter c.)… ANYWAY

I had to laugh at the notes, I took for this week’s lesson… (I WROTE)

“Yeah… Beyond me…”

The first time you TRY something new, please do not let your ignorance get in the way of TRYING AGAIN…

Hosea 11:1-4

God’s Continuing Love for Israel

11 “When Israel was a child, I loved him,
And out of Egypt I called My son.
As they called them,
So they went from them;
They sacrificed to the Baals,
And burned incense to carved images.

“I taught Ephraim to walk,
Taking them by their arms;
But they did not know that I healed them.
I drew them with gentle cords,
With bands of love,
And I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck.
I stooped and fed them.

I DON’T KNOW WHY; however, WHY AM I FOCUSED ON THE RENAMING OF JACOB TO ISRAEL??? (try yet again)

Hosea 11:8-9

“How can I give you up, Ephraim?
How can I hand you over, Israel?
How can I make you like Admah?
How can I set you like Zeboiim?
My heart churns within Me;
My sympathy is stirred.
I will not execute the fierceness of My anger;
I will not again destroy Ephraim.
For I am God, and not man,
The Holy One in your midst;
And I will not come with terror.

BEAUTIFUL! I was stuck on the Beginning of the scripture, but when I read it to the End, I got a better understanding of what the theme is this week.

TRY… TRY AGAIN… TRY YET AGAIN…

*Please note* That on this day of the Lord, God will not come with terror… BEAUTIFUL… HUH?

I, now, want to share with you another scripture written in the Old Testament of our Holy Bible.  It is a PSALM written by David (David vs. Goliath)

Psalm 90:12-17

12 So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom.

13 Return, O Lord!
How long?
And have compassion on Your servants.
14 Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy,
That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!
15 Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us,
The years in which we have seen evil.
16 Let Your work appear to Your servants,
And Your glory to their children.
17 And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands.

THIS PSALM makes me want to…

WHO WAS THIS MAN THAT WAS HEALED???

(try again)

The above scripture is AWESOME It is a story of a man that could not get up and walk to a pool of water that angels were visiting from time to time.  The people that were touched by this water were healed of their diseases.  This man could not walk to the pool… (TRY YET AGAIN)

THAT IS, UNTIL HE MET OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.

The name of the one that was healed is unimportant… The name of the healer IS…🙂

THANK YOU GOD FOR YESTERDAY.

Today, I want to share with you an AWESOME scripture written by our brother Paul found in the New Testament in our Holy Bible… IT READS…

Philippians 4:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

When I feel my “trying” is not moving me forward in faith… I gather the strength and “try” harder. 🙂
