Our Lord Jesus, you have endured the doubts and foolish questions of every generation. Forgive us for trying to be judge over you, and grant us the confident faith to acknowledge you as Lord.
LOVE… LOVE MORE… LOVE EVEN MORE…
I really want to share with you a teaching of Jesus Christ written in the Holy Gospel in our Holy Bible… IT READS…
Mark 10:2-16
2 The Pharisees came and asked Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” testing Him.
3 And He answered and said to them, “What did Moses command you?”
4 They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce, and to dismiss her.”
5 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.6 But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’[a]7 ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife,8 and the two shall become one flesh’; [b] so then they are no longer two, but one flesh.9 Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
10 In the house His disciples also asked Him again about the same matter.11 So He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.12 And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
Jesus Blesses Little Children
13 Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them.14 But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”16 And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.
This reminds me how broken of a world we live in… I remember learning, in my Sexual Behavior class at Arizona State University, that 50% of marriages end in divorce…
As a child from parents who divorced, I can tell you how much this sucks…
BUT, I WOULD RATHER PUT MY WORDS INTO ACTION AND SHOW THE WORLD THAT I WILL BE ONE FAITHFUL MAN.
LOVE… LOVE MORE… LOVE EVEN MORE…
AFTER-ALL, THERE IS ENOUGH TALKING IN THIS WORLD…
Q: Do YOU think nice guys finish last???
A: LOVE… LOVE MORE… LOVE EVEN MORE…
Hebrews 2:9-11
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
Bringing Many Sons to Glory
10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. 11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Jesus Forbids Sectarianism
38 Now John answered Him, saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.”
39 But Jesus said, “Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. 40 For he who is not against us is on our[a] side. 41 For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.

Jesus Warns of Offenses
42 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. 43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— 44 where
‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’[b]
45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— 46 where
‘Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched.’[c]
47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire— 48 where
‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’[d]
Tasteless Salt Is Worthless
49 “For everyone will be seasoned with fire,[e] and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. 50 Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.”
THROUGH THESE SCRIPTURES, I believe that Jesus is telling us to make a way for those with Him in their hearts… We should be mindful and let these people be… what I mean, is that denominations in the church are only a way for men to try to understand God. No “religion” is wrong if the body is doing works in the name of the Lord.
The thing Jesus IS calling us to share His abounding love for us through works…
OUR BROTHER PAUL WRITES…
Romans 5:6-11
Christ in Our Place
6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Matthew 22:1-14
The Parable of the Wedding Feast
22 And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son,3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.”’5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them.7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and[a] cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Mark 9:30-32
Jesus Again Predicts His Death and Resurrection
30 Then they departed from there and passed through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know it.31 For He taught His disciples and said to them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day.”32 But they did not understand this saying, and were afraid to ask Him.
For the second time Jesus predicts His own death and resurrection…

Mark 8:31-33
Jesus Predicts His Death and Resurrection
31 And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. 32 He spoke this word openly. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. 33 But when He had turned around and looked at His disciples, He rebuked Peter, saying, “Get behind Me, Satan! For you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
The second part of the Gospel reminds me that the disciples were only human…
Mark 9:33-37
Who Is the Greatest?
33 Then He came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house He asked them, “What was it you disputed among yourselves on the road?”34 But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the greatest. 35 And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.” 36 Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, 37“Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.”

It is written in the Holy Gospel in the book of Matthew that Jesus predicts his death and resurrection for the third time… WANNA READ???
Matthew 20:17-28
Jesus a Third Time Predicts His Death and Resurrection
17 Now Jesus, going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them, 18“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death,19 and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.”
Greatness Is Serving
20 Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Him with her sons, kneeling down and asking something from Him.
21 And He said to her, “What do you wish?”
She said to Him, “Grant that these two sons of mine may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on the left, in Your kingdom.”
22 But Jesus answered and said, “You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?”[a]
They said to Him, “We are able.”
23 So He said to them, “You will indeed drink My cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;[b] but to sit on My right hand and on My left is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it is prepared by My Father.”
24 And when the ten heard it, they were greatly displeased with the two brothers. 25 But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them.26 Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.27 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave—28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Lord God, you call us to work in your vineyard and leave no one standing idle. Set us to our tasks in the work of your kingdom, and help us to order our lives by your wisdom; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

27 Now Jesus and His disciples went out to the towns of Caesarea Philippi; and on the road He asked His disciples, saying to them, “Who do men say that I am?”

29 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Peter answered and said to Him, “You are the Christ.”

Take Up the Cross and Follow Him
34 When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
I have to be honest with you…
I LOVE WORKING OUT…I AM GONNA GO TO THE GYM AFTER I READ THESE VERSES WRITTEN BY THE MAJOR PROPHET ISAIAH… (reminds me of PSALMS)
Isaiah 50:4-10
4 “The Lord God has given Me
The tongue of the learned,
That I should know how to speak
A word in season to him who is weary.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear
To hear as the learned. 5 The Lord God has opened My ear;
And I was not rebellious,
Nor did I turn away. 6 I gave My back to those who struck Me,
And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard;
I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.
7 “For the Lord God will help Me;
Therefore I will not be disgraced;
Therefore I have set My face like a flint,
And I know that I will not be ashamed. 8 He is near who justifies Me;
Who will contend with Me?
Let us stand together.
Who is My adversary?
Let him come near Me. 9 Surely the Lord God will help Me;
Who is he who will condemn Me?
Indeed they will all grow old like a garment;
The moth will eat them up.
10 “Who among you fears the Lord?
Who obeys the voice of His Servant?
Who walks in darkness
And has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the Lord
And rely upon his God.

SPEECH #4 WE ARE!!!
My Fellow Toastmasters and Guests…The sun goes down… the moon reflects the awesome light of tomorrow on the field… I am joined by 106,000 members of my family… I hear a distant chant emerging from the sea of blue and white… I, immediately, join in… WE ARE!!! (penn state) WE ARE!!! (penn state) WE ARE!!! (penn state) THANK YOU!!! (you’re welcome) You guessed it… my speech tonight is on Penn State Football… Specifically, why HAPPY VALLEY IS AN AWESOME FOOTBALL GAME DESTINATION… I will pass you six reasons…
1. White-Outs
My eyes… (put on sunglasses)… 106,000 people all dressed in white will brighten up any game… EVEN DURING A NIGHT GAME! It is truly a sight to see. The white out follows suit of one of the latest trends in college football to have everyone attending the game wear the same color, this past week’s beating… featured yellow and black stripes in the stands… Penn State played IOWA In IOWA CITY. This was cool… but no one can compete with Penn State’s white house.
The white-out occurs inside the football stadium; however, my senses prefer what happens outside the stadium.
2. Tailgating
Sniff… Sniff… I smell Burgers, hotdogs, barbeque chicken… What’s that??? Sniff… Sniff… is that??? No, it can’t be… Sniff… Sniff… IT IS… Well, I be a Penn State Fan (wink)
shrimp, lobster, steak… AWESOME!!! The tailgating routine is common in every college and pro football site in the United States, but at Penn State, the tailgate is a tradition like no other.
AND I like it, because I can practice my public speaking skills by asking for some tailgaters to share some of that good food (wink)…
You know… all this food is going to make me bloated… I’m gonna have to walk it off…
SHOPPING ANYONE???
3. The Shopping is what also makes Happy Valley an awesome college football destination.
When we walk down College Avenue we will find many stores opening their doors for some good deals. WE WILL FIND ANYTHING DAWNING THE Blue & White.
We must…
Unlock the magic of Penn State with a Penn State key. YES… They have Penn State Keys for sale!
When the magic is unlocked we can actually find a
A Nittany Lion suit…
We could dress up like the mascot!
Nittany Lion suit could serve as pajamas or a way to stay warm at those late fall tailgates.
This brings me to my fourth reason why Happy Valley is an awesome college football destination…
We have the best mascot in the big ten-
4. The Nittany Lion
WE ARE!!! (penn state) WE ARE!!! (penn state) WE ARE!!! (penn state) THANK YOU!!! (you’re welcome)
The master of ceremonies on Saturdays, the Nittany Lion takes on the responsibility for getting the crowd ready for the pregame show and entertained during the stoppages in play during the game. He wears a button for Penn State’s moto of the week…
Do you know what the button said for last Saturday??? (vs. Iowa Hawkeyes)
THE NITTANY LION GETS THE CROWD GOING.
The sound of over 100,000 fans cheering on Old State will give any opposing team trying to call plays trouble… THE NOISE…
I need to explain the fifth reason…
5. BEAVER STADIUM…
The steel enclosure is built upwards, unlike Michigan stadium which is built outwards. This makes the noise thick… trying to escape, but, beating down on the ears off the opponents instead. The stadium is also awesome hearing the marching band… which is the sixth reason making Happy Valley an awesome college football destination…
6. The Blue Band
How can you miss hearing… The roar of the bass drums, the saltiness sound of the trumpets, the sweet sound of clarinets…
SOOO…
Let’s go to a Penn State game…
WE ARE!!! (penn state) WE ARE!!! (penn state) WE ARE!!! (penn state) THANK YOU Toastmasters!
BELOW IS HOW I GOT MY DAY STARTED… will you listen???
THANK YOU!!!
9/29/2017 –
YOU KNOW,I AM LICENSED TO PRODUCE LIFE INSURANCE POLICIES IN THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA,RIGHT???
9/30/2017 –
TODAY WAS AWESOME!!!WHAT WILL MAKE IT MORE AWESOME IS IF YOU LET ME SHARE THIS WRITING FROM OUR BROTHER PAUL WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THESSALONIANS… It Reads…
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Q: WHY DO I STRUGGLE WITH THIS???
Q: AM I WEAK IN FAITH FOR HAVING QUESTIONS???
Q: AM I THINKING CARNALLY, WHEN I SHOULD BE THINKING SPIRITUALLY???
O God, you declare your almighty power chiefly in showing mercy and pity. Grant us the fullness of your grace, that, pursuing what you have promised, we may share your heavenly glory; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

34 When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
I have to be honest with you…
I LOVE WORKING OUT… I AM GONNA GO TO THE GYM AFTER I READ THESE VERSES WRITTEN BY THE MAJOR PROPHET ISAIAH… (reminds me of PSALMS)
Isaiah 50:4-10
4 “The Lord God has given Me
The tongue of the learned,
That I should know how to speak
A word in season to him who is weary.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear
To hear as the learned. 5 The Lord God has opened My ear;
And I was not rebellious,
Nor did I turn away. 6 I gave My back to those who struck Me,
And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard;
I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.
7 “For the Lord God will help Me;
Therefore I will not be disgraced;
Therefore I have set My face like a flint,
And I know that I will not be ashamed. 8 He is near who justifies Me;
Who will contend with Me?
Let us stand together.
Who is My adversary?
Let him come near Me. 9 Surely the Lord God will help Me;
Who is he who will condemn Me?
Indeed they will all grow old like a garment;
The moth will eat them up.
10 “Who among you fears the Lord?
Who obeys the voice of His Servant?
Who walks in darkness
And has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the Lord
And rely upon his God.

TODAY WAS AWESOME!!!

I went to the library…
WANT TO READ THE SPEECH I GAVE LAST NIGHT???
Almighty and eternal God, you know our problems and our weaknesses better than we ourselves. In your love and by your power help us in our confusion and, in spite of our weakness, make us firm in faith; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
SANCTIFICATION???
Sanctification is the act or process of being made or becoming holy.
Q: Who makes us Holy???
A: That’s where the debate comes into play…
(Please read till the end… I added a lot of scriptures and personal testimonies for this Sixteenth Sunday After Pentecost… THANK YOU!!!)
I, personally, find man’s attempt on trying to explain the unknown (religion) fascinating and beautiful! As I learn more about Christianity, the more I realize, I do not know. What I think was fascinating was the topic we discussed in bible study this morning… We heard a testimony from a catholic priest. He referred to priests as community representatives… HOWEVER,I PREFER TO THINK OF GOD’s ELECT AS TEACHERs OF GOD’s WORD…
I will continue to hear from my Lutheran Pastor… Martin Luther… “This life is not godliness, but growth in godliness; not health, but healing; not being, but becoming; not rest, but exercise. We are not now what we shall be, but we are on the way; the process is not yet finished, but it has begun; this is not the goal, but it is road; at present all does not gleam and glitter, but everything is being purified.”
LOVING THAT HOLY SPIRIT…
MAY I SHARE WITH YOU ONE OF THE MANY MIRACLES PERFORMED BY JESUS CHRIST WRITTEN IN MARK???
Mark 7:31-37
Jesus Heals a Deaf-Mute
31 Again, departing from the region of Tyre and Sidon, He came through the midst of the region of Decapolis to the Sea of Galilee. 32 Then they brought to Him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him. 33 And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and He spat and touched his tongue. 34 Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”
35 Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly. 36 Then He commanded them that they should tell no one; but the more He commanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it.37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”
HMMM…GOD’s ELECT ARE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE COMMUNITY…seriously???
I, now, feel the need to show you something written in our new testament in the Holy Bible…
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
Qualities Needed in Trials
19 So then,[a] my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
Doers—Not Hearers Only
21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
26 If anyone among you[b] thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. 27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
I LOVE THE WORD…

“I AM ALIVE FOR SOME REASON” – THANK YOU GOD!!!
You know, what I want to do???
SCREAM the Holy Gospel at you…
Mark 7:1-8
Defilement Comes from Within
7 Then the Pharisees and some of the scribes came together to Him, having come from Jerusalem. 2 Now when[a] they saw some of His disciples eat bread with defiled, that is, with unwashed hands, they found fault. 3 For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands in a special way, holding the tradition of the elders. 4 When they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other things which they have received and hold, like the washing of cups, pitchers, copper vessels, and couches.
5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked Him, “Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?”
6 He answered and said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:
‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. 7 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’[b]
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men[c] —the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.”
AS I READ THIS…
I FEEL THE NEED TO WHISPER A PSALM TO YOU…
Psalm 15
The Character of Those Who May Dwell with the Lord
15 Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle?
Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
2 He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart; 3 He who does not backbite with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; 4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised,
But he honors those who fear the Lord;
He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; 5 He who does not put out his money at usury,
Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be moved.

Ephesians 1:3-6
Redemption in Christ
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Romans 8:24-30
24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us[a] with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
